Environmental Charter

Our hotel is firmly committed to integrating environmental concerns into all of its operations.

We are aware of our responsibility towards the planet and the community to which we belong.

This is why we have drawn up this environmental charter, to formalise our commitments and raise awareness among our whole team, our partners, our suppliers and our guests about the importance of protecting the environment.

Team Awareness and Training

Specific Training: our environmental officer benefits from ongoing training on the challenges of sustainable tourism, environmental protection and CSR.

Ongoing Awareness: we are committed to regularly raising awareness and educating our teams on environmental issues through training and internal meetings. Our teams are trained in the eco-friendly practices to follow in their daily tasks. We encourage our staff to use green mobility (bicycle, public transport, walking) for their daily commute.

Water and Energy Savings

Resource Optimisation: we are committed to optimising the use of water and energy in our facilities, by adopting efficient technologies and encouraging responsible behaviour among our teams and guests.

All of our lighting is LED, which saves energy while offering the same comfort for our guests. We have installed motion sensors and timers in common areas and corridors to limit energy waste. We have installed pressure reducers on taps and showers so as not to deplete the resource.

Waste Reduction: we have implemented concrete measures aimed at reducing water and energy waste, by monitoring our consumption and raising our teams' awareness of responsible use. We read our water and electricity meters every month to better manage our consumption.

Waste Reduction

Reduction at Source: we strive to minimise waste production by favouring reusable, recyclable or biodegradable packaging wherever possible.

We work with mostly bulk products for our breakfast buffet, or large packaging, to limit unnecessary packaging.

We offer refillable Ecopump amenity products to reduce packaging waste. We are also able to offer other products on request, to better meet our guests' needs.

Selective Sorting: we have set up a selective waste sorting system in all areas of the hotel to guarantee recycling and recovery.

We sort all types of waste (cardboard/paper/plastic/metal/glass) as well as biowaste, which is collected by a specialised company that recovers it. We encourage our guests to also sort their waste by providing collection points at the hotel.

Responsible Purchasing and Local Suppliers

Favouring Local Suppliers: we give priority to local suppliers and regional products to reduce our carbon footprint and support the local economy.

Environmentally Friendly Products: we favour the purchase of environmentally friendly products, prioritising eco-labels and choosing sustainable options.

Communication with Guests

Transparency of Information: we communicate our environmental commitments transparently to our guests.

Specific Training0: we encourage our guests to adopt eco-responsible practices during their stay by providing information on the actions they can take (selective sorting, green mobility, eco-friendly practices).

We provide our guests with information about local flora and fauna. We also offer alternatives to limit car travel (bicycle hire, public transport, shuttle).

We regularly support local reuse centres by donating our equipment and furniture whenever possible.

We are committed to reducing our CO2 emissions by favouring sustainable modes of transport and investing in more environmentally friendly technologies.

We recognise that this charter is a living commitment, and we pledge to review it periodically to adapt it to technological developments and best environmental practices.

We are determined to work together for a more sustainable future and to actively contribute to preserving our beautiful planet.

We are committed to a process aimed at obtaining the Clef Verte label.

The Clef Verte label distinguishes tourist accommodation and restaurants engaged in a voluntary, effective and dynamic environmental approach.

The label is awarded annually by an independent panel made up of tourism and environmental experts and professionals.
